Procrastination

Once again, my procrastination of homework has controlled me instead of me controlling it. If you haven't noticed, I'm not too good at getting my homework done ahead of time. I think I might need some help on this subject, but when people make suggestions, I still take it offensively. I'm not sure what I should do. Mom has offered to reward me for going to the library in order to finish my homework, but that doesn't seem right to me. It almost seems to be a punishment to send me to the library. Maybe I could do something more gradual, like playing games for 30-60 minutes only when I've finished my homework for one of my classes. I'd be up for any suggestions. (hint, hint)

Homework first, games later.... That is really the only advice that I have. I have found that if you try and alternate between the two, it seems to take forever to finish your homework, and you get sucked into your game so you forget to do the rest. I think the library is a good idea because you would try to finish things faster to be able to get home to play your games.

The library always helped me to study because there were no tv's or computer games around to distract me. I think part of the procrastination for me was being a perfectionist too. Games are funner anyway when you don't have the nag of homework on the back of your mind. You know the feeling...

Um... The bad news is that Disgaea 2 is on its way and is so addicting you won't get any homework done anyway. At least you've been warned. You could tell your teachers in advance: "Teacher, I'm not going to get any homework done probably for the next month because my older brother sent me a highly addictive game and... I... Can't... Stop..."

Gee. Thanks Wes. You've made it so I'll do WORSE in school. (just kidding) I'm better than that I won't let games get in the way, at least...not too much.

Wesley and I used to go to the library after school every day and study for like 4 hours. Look how well we turned out! Look what exciting lives we lead now! The library ROCKS!!

I think I owe the library money right now, so if you go in and they ask you if we're related, you might wanna say no.

Yes!! One more reason not to go to the library! Thanks Kjersti. I'm not really going to use that as an excuse, but still....

Kjersti,
Are you telling me you've got a buck fifty in late charges at the public library?

Maybe you can set up a payment plan....

I could stand the library for like 15 minutes and then I left. I was never any good and being the studious one, but I too turned out just fine!!
